Southeast Missouri State University Athletics said the Redhawks women’s soccer team tied Southern Indiana 1-1 on Sunday, Oct. 4, at Houck Stadium in Cape Girardeau.
Olivia Klinkhardt scored for Southeast Missouri in the 49th minute, assisted by Jasmine Barney and Taylor Cassidy, according to the athletics announcement. Southern Indiana’s Emma Schut scored the equalizer in the 75th minute.
Southern Indiana had 13 shots to Southeast Missouri’s 10 and put five shots on goal, compared with two for the Redhawks, the announcement said. Southeast Missouri goalkeeper Natalie Allison made four saves.
The Redhawks are scheduled to host Morehead State on Sunday, Oct. 11, at 1 p.m. in Cape Girardeau, according to Southeast Missouri State Athletics.
